These are original lyrics and her voice, well, it speaks for itself. She's one gifted woman. Enjoy!

NY Debates Islamic Center Near World Trade Center Site

Hey friends!

It's been a while since i've posted but i stumbled across this news article. please read it and tell me how YOU feel.

http://www.comcast.net/articles/news-general/20100810/US.Ground.Zero.Mosque.Paterson/

If you don't have time to read this entire article let me just highlight a few things:

"ALBANY, N.Y. — New York Gov. David Paterson offered state help Tuesday if the developers of a mosque near the site of the Sept. 11 attacks agree to move the project farther from the site.

Paterson, a Democrat, said that he doesn't oppose the project as planned but indicated that he understands where opponents are coming from. He said he was willing to intervene to seek other suitable state property if the developers agreed."

Argument
"...the religion that fueled the hatred in the terrorists shouldn't be displayed so near to the site and in a place New Yorkers will have to pass daily..."

Counter-argument:
"...Muslims died in the Sept. 11 attacks, too, and that "we have to remember that sometimes it's the fanaticism of religion that have driven people to do what they do, not the worship of the religion itself."..."

and here's a video with New York Rep. (on the Homeland Security Committee) Peter King offering his opinion in regards to radical Islam
